YMCA Day Camps create experiences that last a lifetime!

The Y offers a variety of programs to ensure we meet the needs and interests of your camper. 

In the Fall and Winter months, we offer camps for the holidays, March Break and PA Days.

Summer Day Camps 2024

Starting the week of July 2nd, 2024, we offer Summer Day Camps that provide new experiences, skill-building, and community connections in exciting outdoor settings where children gain respect for the outdoors, their community and themselves.

YMCA Northumberland offers camps in three locations: Cobourg, Brighton and Cramahe

In our safe, warm, and welcoming environment, camp provides the ideal setting for children to learn, grow, be themselves, and thrive. Through engaging activities, your child will become more independent and self-confident while gaining new friends and an appreciation for nature.

With the option of weekly outdoor-focused camp or Specialty Camps like Golf Camp, STEAM, or Future Leaders of the Y (FLY) camp, there’s an option for every child and youth.

  • Summer Camp Dates: Starts week of July 2nd and runs each which, ending on August 30th.
  • Daily Fees: Member $41/day/child  &  Non-member $43/day/child.
  • Ages Served: 5 – 12 years (JK grads Welcome!)
  • Camp Start & End Time: 8am – 5pm with extended hours available at an extra cost (am $5.50/child & pm $5.50/child).
  • Specialty Camps run throughout the summer.

PA Day Camp Dates Spring 2024

Registration Required Details: For children aged 6-12 years old. All our camps are run by trained Y Staff who strive to make camp days fun and memorable for participants. Our multi-day camps have Theme Days to keep your children engaged. Children learn, play and have the opportunity to make new friends!

Camp may take place outside so please dress appropriately for the weather. Children will have a blast being outdoors, making new discoveries, playing games, and crafting. (Indoor) Swimming is often on our list of daily activities, so come ready to take a dip in the pool! Children will need to outdoor clothing suitable for the weather, as well as bring a swimsuit, towel, lunch and snacks (please no products that may contain nuts), and refillable water bottle.
