About the workshop:
Many exercisers either push too hard without realizing it or never reach the intensity needed to achieve their goals. This one-time clinic helps you understand what “intensity” really means in exercise—beyond simply going faster or lifting heavier—and how to safely adjust it to match your fitness level and your unique objectives.
About the instructor:
With a background in martial arts and a passion for mindful movement that builds lasting wellness, trainer and instructor, Mikaela Lavoy, helps participants find their ideal intensity to build strength, fitness, confidence, and ongoing results, catered to their individual needs.
Workshop Details:
This interactive one-time clinic will teach you exactly what “intensity” means in fitness and how to measure it for yourself. Learn to:
- Identify your ideal training zone for cardio and strength
- Scale exercises up or down to match your goals
- Use simple tools like the talk test, RPE rating of personal exertion, and heart-rate zones
- Prevent burnout and accelerate progress
You’ll leave with hands-on experience and a personalized plan to adjust intensity safely and effectively.
