Access our huge personal conditioning centre, with weights and cardio equipment, as well as swimming in our two inviting pools. We are offering Group Fitness Classes and Swim Lessons, as well as other programs and activities in the pool.

GROUP FITNESS CLASSES
We have a range of class options to choose from. Unlimited with membership, give lots a try to find what’s right for you!
FUNCTIONAL GROUP FITNESS CLASS on the Turf!
Build confidence and learn to use the YMCA turf equipment in a supportive group setting! This beginner-friendly 4-week class is designed for those who’ve felt unsure or intimidated by the turf space. You’ll gain hands-on experience, guided instruction, and encouragement from others learning right alongside you. Break the mold, build new skills, and feel ready to take on the turf on your own! CHILD + YOUTH ACTIVITIES:
We are offering Day Camps during the PA Days and March Break, running 8am to 5pm each day (with extending hours available for a fee).
- Youth Dance events continue, with our next one being the Boots & Beats Dance on Friday, May. 29, for Grades 6–8. The evening will feature music, dancing, and fun for youth to enjoy with friends.
- This June, we are offering some exciting new Pop Up One Night Workshops for Children and Youth, including the Science of Slime as well as Creating with Clay & Canvas, as well as some Puppet Crafting! Learn More & Register
- Kids Night Out returns on Friday, June 12 in Campbellford for ages 4-11. Times: 5:30–8:30 pm | Fees: $12 for Members | $20 for Non-members | Learn More.
- Kids ages 5-12 can join us for our PA Day Camp on Friday, June 26. Times: 8am –5pm | Fees: $43 for Members | $45 for Non-members | Learn More.
- We offer Child Minding in our facility on Monday to Friday from 9am-11am + Thursday evenings too.

The full suite of YMCA amenities includes a warming pool, 4 lane 25 metre pool, a conditioning centre with free weights, weight machines and cardio equipment, multiple changerooms, two studios and a multi-purpose space. The vision has come to fruition!
We are excited to share the updated progress on YMCA Northumberland’s partnership project with Trent Hills. The Sunny Life Recreation & Wellness Centre that is currently under construction in Campbellford, is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2024.
The facility is located at 50 Seymour Quarry Road just south of Campbellford and Giant Tiger.
The new build is 66,000 square feet and includes an arena which will be operated by the Municipality of Trent Hills. A full suite of YMCA amenities that include a warming pool, 4 lane 25 metre pool, a conditioning centre, male, female and universal changerooms, two studios and multi-purpose space will be operated by YMCA Northumberland. This project has been many years in the making and due to the commitment and dedication of the Trent Hills community, Mayor, Council, staff and the solid partnership that has been established with YMCA Northumberland over the 20 years of operation in Trent Hills, the vision has come to fruition.
