We’re thrilled to announce that the wait is almost over! After many hours and many months of work from an expansive team, we’re proud to bring you brand new spaces, sparkling new pools and a bright new place to ignite your potential inside the beautiful Sunny Life Recreation & Wellness Centre!
Starting at 6AM on Wednesday, November 27, we’ll be opening all our doors at the new YMCA Northumberland Campbellford location and launching our regular facility hours: 6AM to 9PM Monday to Friday, 7AM to 8PM Saturday, and 7AM to 5PM Sunday.
As of opening day, you’ll have access to our huge personal conditioning centre, with weights and cardio equipment, as well as swimming in our two inviting pools (as per our aquatic schedule coming soon). Our friendly staff will also be offering tours of the facility throughout each day. We are working hard to plan our fitness class schedule and it will kick off soon after.
The full suite of YMCA amenities includes a warming pool, 4 lane 25 metre pool, a conditioning centre with free weights, weight machines and cardio equipment, multiple changerooms, two studios and a multi-purpose space. Full schedules for more programming are coming out soon.
Please note that our regular membership rates will begin once we open on Nov. 27. But you can jump-start your fitness journey at our special rates beforehand! Purchase your first month of membership at our Grand Opening Offers* until November 27:
- Individual Rate: $30 (includes tax)
- Couple Rate (2 adults): $55 (includes tax)
- Group/Family Rate (up to 5 people): $70 (includes tax)

Couple is 2 adults who don’t need to be related or live at the same address but account must be managed by single payee. Family/Group is up to 5 people who don’t need to be related or live at the same address but must include at least 1 person over the age of 18 and account is managed by a single payee. All members must sign a waiver upon their initial arrival at the Campbellford location prior to any facility use.

The vision has come to fruition!
We are excited to share the updated progress on YMCA Northumberland’s partnership project with Trent Hills. The Sunny Life Recreation & Wellness Centre that is currently under construction in Campbellford, is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2024.
The facility is located at 50 Seymour Quarry Road just south of Campbellford and Giant Tiger.
The new build is 66,000 square feet and includes an arena which will be operated by the Municipality of Trent Hills. A full suite of YMCA amenities that include a warming pool, 4 lane 25 metre pool, a conditioning centre, male, female and universal changerooms, two studios and multi-purpose space will be operated by YMCA Northumberland.
