Bring your kids for an evening full of festive fun with swimming, dinner & play!
It’s a fun twist on tradition – kids get to be kids, while parents and guardians enjoy an evening for themselves. This action-packed evening is for children ages 4 to 11 and includes swimming and plenty of play. It’s the perfect opportunity for your kids to enjoy a safe, exciting holiday-themed night while you take some time for yourself.

First Aid, Safety, Babysitting & Lifeguard Training
For youth, we offer a variety of courses at both our Cobourg and Campbellford facility. Many courses are through the Red Cross. Please visit our First Aid & Lifeguard Training page for details.

Let us host your child’s birthday party! From setup to clean up, we’ll take care of everything. We offer parties in both Cobourg and Campbellford.

Fall 2026 | Campbellford Y Multipurpose Room
Junior Recreational Dance Program
Our dance program at the Campbellford Y, gives children from Ages 2 to 11+ a chance to learn, move, create and have fun with dance in a positive environment. Throughout the session, participants will build dance skills progressively while developing coordination, balance, rhythm, flexibility, musicality, body awareness, confidence & teamwork!
The Fall Program runs from Oct. 18 to Dec. 13. Children aged 5 & under have one class every Sunday. Children aged 6 & older can choose either a Sunday class (9 weeks, starting Oct. 18) or a Monday class (7 weeks, starting Nov. 2) or both classes.
For Members, 1 FREE Multi-Week Program is included per session per child. The Non Members Fee will be charged for each additional Program per child, based on start date.

Includes Dance Showcase! The fall session concludes with a special end-of-session dance showcase for family and friends on Sunday, December 20 to give participants the opportunity to perform. The showcase celebrates each participant’s progress, creativity, confidence, and hard work.
Youth Access to the Personal Conditioning Centre
The YMCA is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all members. The following guidelines apply to youth ages 11–14 accessing the Conditioning Centre:
Youth Access Guidelines

Can access all areas of the Conditioning Centre (excluding the Free Weight Area) when accompanied by a parent or guardian who is aged 18+ and who are always within arm’s reach.
- Can access all areas of the Conditioning Centre (excluding Free Weight Area) when unaccompanied only after completing the Y-Grow program and are wearing a wrist band indicator.
For the health and safety of all users, there will be no exceptions.
