Prepay to Save in 2025!

We want to share some important news about upcoming adjustments to our membership rates in 2025. These changes are necessary due to rising operational costs, including facility maintenance, staff wages, and essential upgrades to our equipment and amenities.

YMCA Northumberland is a not-for-profit Canadian charity and we offer the lowest possible rates to cover our operational costs. To ensure we can continue providing you with the optimal experience, a modest rate increase will take effect in the new year.

Our 2025 Rates

We have many options to better serve those in our community.

Family/Group: For up to 5 individuals who do not need to be related or live at the same household but must include at least one person over 18 years old and account must be managed by a single payee.
Couple: For 2 adults who do not need to be related or live at the same household but account must be managed by a single payee.

Starting on January 15, 2025, we are keeping all the membership categories and options the same but making a modest adjustment to our rates. Below are our updated 2025 Rates for Cobourg, Campbellford and Brighton.

The Good news?

As a way of saying thanks—we want to give you a break on rising costs as we enter 2025. Enjoy our Price Freeze until Jan. 15 and choose to prepay for 2025 to maintain current rates for that prepaid period! You can prepay for 3, 6 or 12 Months before January 15, 2025

Financial Assistance:

The YMCA strives to serve all members of the community. Every effort will be made to accommodate all who wish to participate in YMCA programs and services, within the boundaries of our available resources and program capacity.

YMCA Strong Communities Campaign is available to those individuals and families who are unable to pay the full fee for a YMCA Membership.
To apply, bring in a completed Application Form (PDF) along with proof of your income and expenses. Your interview will be an in-person assessment of your financial situation and will be completely confidential.

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIP PLAN

A plan that works for you and your business!

Enhance employee wellness with YMCA Northumberland’s Corporate Membership Plan, providing discounted rates, efficient administration, and monthly adjustments.

With our plan, businesses can give their employees the opportunity to exercise regularly, live healthier and achieve greater work/life balance at a discounted rate.
The memberships can be singles, doubles, couples or a family/groups of up to 5 individuals.
All Corporate Membership Plan participants receive full membership access and benefits at 10% off regular rates.
No joiner fees or hidden costs.

Each Corporate Membership PLan is centrally managed by your organization with one point of contact/administrator who collects payments and manages YMCA Northumberland’s monthly invoice.

Each invoice includes all current plan participants for tracking and because all memberships are monthly, you can make changes from month to month as needed.

To join as a member, each participant needs to fill out a basic onboarding form with their employer. Then, new members simply check in at our front desk during their first visit to get their photo taken for ID Cards that are used to access the facilities ongoing.
