Come Celebrate This New Centre with us!
Together with the Municipality of Trent Hills, we would like to invited you to join us for our Grand Reveal Open House at the Sunny Life Recreation & Wellness Centre in Campbellford on Friday, December 13!
Enjoy official ceremonies, free skating, free swimming, YMCA Fitness Class demos, kids activities, light refreshments and other holiday fun as we showcase this incredible new centre for wellness and community connection.
Entry is free and open to the public but all visitors will be asked to check in at the YMCA front desk before entering the pool areas, studios and conditioning centre. Thank you.
This centre represents the culmination of more than 20 years of partnership, collaboration and dedication between YMCA Northumberland and the Municipality of Trent Hills. This state-of-the-art facility will provide a hub for community engagement, health and recreation for residents of all ages and is a testament to what is possible through shared vision and commitment.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:
- Official Ceremonies: Celebrate the opening with local leaders and community members.
- Free Skating: Enjoy complimentary access to the arena
- Free Swimming: Enjoy complimentary access to the two new pools during Open Swim.
- YMCA Class Demonstrations: Experience some fitness classes available at the centre such as Chair Strength, Intro to Pilates, Intro to Boot Camp, and Cyclefit.
- Kids Activities: Fun activities designed for children to enjoy.
- Light Refreshments: Complimentary snacks and beverages.
- Holiday Fun: Get into the spirit of the season with festive activities.
- Personal Conditioning Centre: This area can only be used by YMCA Members but viewing/tours will be available for the general public.
For the Official Ceremonies, featured speakers include Municipality of Trent Hills Mayor, Bob Crate, Municipality of Trent Hills CAO, Lynn Phillips, MP, Mr. Philip Lawrence, and Rob Adams, CEO of Eastern Ontario, representing YMCA Canada, as well as YMCA Northumberland President and CEO, Eunice Kirkpatrick.
