This year’s theme:

Accelerating Growth in Emerging Economies!

Guest Speaker: Jennifer Lavoie

Just back from a 2-week “market expansion” assignment for Colombian women coffee producers, Jennifer Lavoie shares highlights of her 8-year business advisor career in Latin America, Asia, East Africa, southern Europe and Canada’s North. Her focus is building local capacity, skill building, mentorship and coaching for small-medium-sized businesses, which are often women-lead.”I work with people who are really focused on improving their lives and livelihoods and building strong communities. In turn, these stronger communities bring peace, stability and opportunity for all, for generations to come.”

Musical Performer: Rayleigh

Rayleigh is an independent singer/songwriter from Cobourg, Ontario. She produces all of her own music in her bedroom with her most recent release being a demo called ‘what’s wrong with me’. Working with a diverse blend of genres but centring around an indie/pop sound, Rayleigh creates songs that are introspective and reflect the vivid landscape of her inner world. With a versatile sound Rayleigh is able to embody a variety of musical styles and takes inspiration from artists such as RAYE, Lola Young and Billie Eilish.
