All Seniors in the Community are invited to join us!
Explore, interact & try new things! Discoveries await.
Hosted by YMCA Northumberland, in partnership with OACAO and generous funding from the Government of Ontario, this free community connecting event, running 10am to 2pm at the Cobourg Y on Wednesday, October 14, is open to the public. It will bring a wide variety of vendors who offer support, services, and activities of interest to adults 55+ all under one roof.
The fair will feature 30+ local vendors in our Exhibitor Space, plus some demonstrations, and hands on activities to try in our Discover Zone. And we are also offering several interactive clinics and wellness seminars covering topics such as Foods for Healthy Aging, What your grip strength reveals, Habits for happiness, and even some balance tests and hearing clinics.
This event is a forum to build community partnerships, share knowledge about healthy aging and encourage participation in active lifestyles for those aged 55+ in our community.
What’s more, during the event, we will be offering complimentary snacks & refreshments for all vendors and attendees to enjoy. Can’t wait to see you there!
