In November 2024, YMCA WorkWell ran a national Member Experience campaign and heard from 39,000+ members from 99 YMCA locations across Canada.
Here at YMCA Northumberland, we heard from 605 members and we wanted to share the results and the corresponding focus areas for our Y.

- Ran Fitness Survey to determine additional times & types for fitness classes
- Fall programming for Families will offer options for the whole family to participate in together
- Major refresh of key equipment at Brighton and Cobourg locations
- Recognizing and celebrating our Y Thrive graduates ongoing across Nothumberland
- Hired more Maintenance Staff
- New HVAC system and Steam Room repairs in Cobourg location
- New Flooring in Brighton location
- New Roof coming soon to Cobourg location
