A Supper Series for Seniors designed to nourish both body and mind in an engaging and unique manner
Transcend the conventional seniors dining experience with a memorable evening that includes an array of relevant speakers, thought-provoking interactions or a musical performance, designed to compliment the meal. Each supper takes place at the Cobourg YMCA Northumberland location and all community seniors (those aged 55yrs+) are welcome. These events are open to the public. Membership is not required.

Culinary Comforts with Signe Langford
Healthy, Affordable, Comfort Food.
For our final night, chef Signe Langford will be joining us. Signe will show us how to feed ourselves deliciously and healthfully on a budget and you’ll be able to take home some new ideas and recipes too.
Originally from Quebec, Signe now lives in Port Hope and is a restaurant chef-turned-writer who tells awarding winning stories and creates delicious recipes for publications such as Harrowsmith, The Toronto Star and Watershed. She also is an award-winning author of Happy Hens & Fresh Eggs: Keeping Chickens in the Kitchen Garden with 100 Recipes.
She also runs the Port Hope Makers’ Market, Northumberland Expo for Women and hosts The Feed on 89.7FM.
